Patti Oslund

Patti began her nursing career at a Twin Cities hospital, where she worked 23 out of 30 years in a busy Postpartum/Newborn Nursery and Level II Nursery. Working with mother’s and their babies became her passion. In caring for these families, she was often asked “Can you come home with me?” Patti wished that she could, so after leaving the hospital setting she completed Postpartum Doula training. Patti began as a Postpartum Doula at Welcome Baby Care, where she cared for hundreds of families. Being in a family’s private space, empowered her as she observed families bond and grow as they welcomed and learned about their new baby. It didn’t matter if it was their first or third. Patti went on to become a Certified Lactation Counselor. In June of 2018, Patti joined the Willow family. Her same passion continues to include a new aspect of the journey; labor and birth. The magic of birth fills her heart and she remains in awe of the inner strength, control, and power that each birthing client has. Patti is married and the mother of two grown children, a daughter (31) and a son (34). She is excited to announce that soon she’ll be a GRANDMA!
