Considerations for the covid vaccine while breastfeeding

WIllow midwives and lactation consultant Are Your primary lactation Resource

Breastfeeding and chestfeeding is a high priority for us and the majority of Willow Midwives clients.  We provide support beginning with various appointments through your postpartum period. Because your care is always guided by our midwives, our services are generally covered by insurance.

Our lactation team includes Midwife and Lactation Consultant Krista, Midwife and IBCLC Sasha, and IBCLC Nisha. Our lactation team offers comprehensive, individualized care and guidance to every family on their feeding journey.

We offer:

  • Virtual and in-clinic postpartum lactation appointments

  • In-person and virtual Willow Café

  • Follow-up appointments or phone calls as indicated

Before scheduling an appointment, please be sure to review information on billing for lactation visits.

BREAST PUMPS AND INSURANCE COVERAGE

Choosing, purchasing, and navigating insurance coverage for your breast pump can be an unexpected challenge in your postpartum period. To ease the process, we have partnered with Milk Moms, an organization that works directly with your insurance to help you find the breast pump of your choice that will be covered by your insurance plan. Your midwives will send a prescription request and they will inform you of your options, then ship your order directly to your home.
